In this role, you will help customers find the right products and equipment, provide exceptional service, and ensure a smooth experience from checkout to rental return. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, professional service
• Assist customers with product selection, rentals, fittings, and general inquiries
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Prepare, inspect, and maintain rental equipment according to company standards
• Support rental check-in and check-out procedures, including documentation and equipment tracking
• Keep the sales floor, rental area, and workspaces clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Answer product questions and provide clear information about features, pricing, and availability
• Resolve customer concerns in a courteous and solution-oriented manner
• Assist with restocking, merchandising, and inventory organization
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, sales, or equipment rental is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a busy environment
• Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions and equipment
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently or as part of a team
• Dependable, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and rental processes

Preferred Skills

• Experience with rental equipment, outdoor gear, or sporting goods
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory practices
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting equipment as needed
